Prince Is Headed to ‘The Masked Singer’ Finale

Prince once again showed off their impressive voice by singing “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder. They ended the performance by sitting on a throne. The judges are convinced that Prince is a professional singer, maybe even a boy bander.

Jenny McCarthy suggested it could be Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean or NSYNC member JC Chasez. Then there were Broadway suggestions, such as Ben Platt or Andrew Rannells.

With Prince taking the third spot in the finale, the last three contestants this season are all members of Team Good. Prince will join Firefly and Ringmaster to vie for the Golden Mask trophy. We can’t wait to see that showdown.

With Prince going to the finale, that meant that we got to see two contestants unmasked. But in this case, it was actually four people — three of whom were Queen Cobras. But first, we found out the identity of Space Bunny.

Double Elimination Has the Audience in Shock

This week, Space Bunny showed off his rapping skills on “Now That We Found Love” by Heavy D. McCarthy thought it might be Sean Kingston, while Ken Jeong had eyes rolling with his suggestion that it could be Owen Wilson. However, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger correctly guessed that it was Shaggy.

Shaggy admitted that he disguised his iconic voice to throw the judges off the scent, and it worked out for a while. Scherzinger said hearing him do a different kind of voice reminded her of Season 1 winner T-Pain.

As for Queen Cobras, they continued to confuse everyone by showcasing three singers this time, after previously focusing on one or two. They sang “Leave the Door Open” by Bruno Mars, and it really seemed like a toss-up between them and Prince as to who would move on.

Guesses included the “Bang Bang” ladies (Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj), as well as the trio SWV. But only Scherzinger and McCarthy knew that it was En Vogue. The group forgave Jeong for mispronouncing their name throughout the years, saying that’s the European pronunciation.

Which Team Good member are you rooting for as we head into the finale?
