Former The Voice coach Blake Shelton joined Post Malone on stage at CMA Fest in Nashville earlier this week to perform the pair’s unreleased song, reportedly titled “Pour Me a Drink.” A fan at the show captured a clip of the performance.
According to Rolling Stone, Post Malone made a surprise appearance at Nissan Stadium for the first night of CMA Fest on Thursday. He performed a solo version of his song with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help,” and teased his upcoming country album.
Post then welcomed Shelton onto the stage to perform their unreleased song together, which Post first teased on Instagram last month. This would be the second release, after “I Had Some Help,” off Post’s country album, which is expected to be released later this year.
“Somebody pour me a drink / Somebody bum me a smoke / I’m ’bout to get on a buzz / I’m ’bout to get on a roll,” the pair sing on the track. “Yeah, I’ve been breakin’ my back / Just keepin’ up with the Joneses / Y’all know what I mean? / Yeah, y’all know how it goes.”

— Chris Crown (@PhattyLiver03) June 7, 2024After performing together on the big stage, Post and Shelton brought their new song to Shelton’s Nashville bar Ole Red, which has been rebranded as Spotify House for CMA Fest. There, they delivered an acoustic version of the track.
Shelton’s wife Gwen Stefani was also in Nashville on Thursday night. She shared a clip from her husband’s surprise appearance with Post, taken from the crowd at Nissan Stadium, on Instagram Stories. She also shared a few videos from Ole Red later that night.
During his set at Ole Red, People reports that Post also covered George Strait’s “Carrying Your Love with Me” and Vince Gill’s “One More Last Chance.” He also joined Shelton for a duet of “Ol’ Red,” the bar’s namesake.
